This is such great advice, Fatema. The metaphor about racecar and hiker thinking is amazing – I'm a slow thinker myself, and I admit I let it get to me when I was in university. Another angle on that is the idea of growth and fixed mindset – I had a fixed mindset, so not only was I discouraged about being a slow thinker, I didn't realize that if I stuck with a problem, I would be able to figure it out eventually. I just gave up! (Looking back, it's amazing I managed to get a degree at all! 😂)
Kudos to you for learning these lessons so early - some of them took me years and years to figure out!

I really appreciate your comment and thank you for sharing your story, I really feel that the more people open up about their struggles and insecurities and share how they still managed to succeed can really encourage others who are facing the same situation to push forward and do their best. Most successes are the result of hard work and perseverance!❤
