Writing is great to get feedback, if you don't write and confront ideas (particularly wrong ones) against the community, learning will be slower.
A bot protection score service that will run several tests on your website to check your anti-bot protection and tell you how protected your website is from bots.
I agree with you that writing is good for learning and rehearsing, but there's no need (in my opinion) to try to sound authoritative. I believe in more genuine approaches or better yet - open ended discussions.
