Hi there! I'm Andy, and I'm about to start a new job on Monday as a web developer for the Delaware Department of State building WordPress websites for state agencies.
I built my first website in 1998 as a bored teenager using Tripod. I have since always had an interest in it. I made it a part of my job starting in 2008 and then took a leap and went freelance full-time in 2016. It only lasted seven months, but I have been a full-time professional developer since then employed either full-time or contract.
It feels like a long journey, but I finally feel like a real developer who uses whatever tools get put in front of me to solve problems. I specialize in front-end and WordPress, though I'm comfortable working on both sides of the stack when the need arises.
Looking forward to learning and sharing!
