I'm Anne and I started coding about a month ago. I just graduated from UW with a molecular biology degree, and I realized two things pretty quickly: 1.) Finding a job in biotech is pretty difficult, and 2.) I don't think I want to be a scientist.
So I started teaching myself to code. It's going well, but I'm realizing that there are good and bad ways to learn to code (any recommendations would be welcomed, by the way!) and I am not yet sure how to (down the road) break into the tech industry with my decidedly nontechnical resume (seriously, advice, commiseration, or recommendations would be awesome).
Anyway, I'm happy to be a part of the community! Thanks for reading!
