What a top ~5% Crunchbase visibility signal means for an early access-focused product?

I wanted to share a small builder update.

Recently, Toqen reached a Crunchbase CB Rank of ~91k with a Heat Score of 92.
Based on public estimates, this places the project roughly within the top ~5% of visible profiles on Crunchbase.

I do not see this as a growth milestone.
I see it as a signal.

No funding.
No PR campaigns.
No Product Hunt launch.

Just steady product work and repeated exposure around a very specific problem:
how to provide secure, privacy-first access without relying on passwords or mandatory user accounts.

For me, this kind of signal matters because it reflects whether the problem framing resonates - not whether marketing worked.

Toqen is being built as a passwordless access layer for SaaS, events, and digital services, with a focus on:

  • fast entry,
  • strong security,
  • reduced identity overhead.

Building continues.
