I wouldn't immediately discount all corporates as some are more nimble than others.
I'm sorry the role's not everything you'd hoped it to be. If you find yourself with downtime, maybe you can use it as an opportunity to learn whatever new technologies or approaches you'd been wanting to look at. You could even turn that learning into a career-booster by starting a community of practice in the office around that new thing you're learning?
