I agree with the statement that there is no need to get a degree in Computing and IT related fields, but it is necessary to virtue signal to employers that you have the required skills to do well in the job. That's the only reason I decided to apply to college, and I wanted to study at the best ones. In order to be accepted by most of the colleagues I applied to essayedge.com/graduate-essay-editi... As I look back at it, my post misses out on another aspect: the community aspect of being in college. Programming is a sport, one that requires a lot of dedication and focus. It's very important to be self-disciplined if you want to learn programming on your own. Even if you go to a bootcamp, it's best to pick one that you know will be rigorous. In college, you will be surrounded by students who are most likely going through the same challenges, so you will get the guidance and support you need to push through the difficult phase and achieve mastery.
