I totally get your point, and it's exactly why I didn't say a quantity of hours when talked about sleeping! It depends on what you are doing, and how much it requires your mental effort.
Even if you want to become the best of the best, you still need to rest correctly, or you will suffer of permanent damage in your body. I feel like going into your 30s with having headaches everyday, heart problems and being always stressed it's not a good trade for your health. Even if it takes you a bit longer, your body and mental health will thank it, at the end of the day, it's a matter of balancing the mental effort with the rest 😄
