Nice to see all these advantages for developers and designers. However, I have customers that als whatโs in it for them every time new technology is proposed. The only link to answer that I see in your article is time-to-market. What other things can a headless CMS offer to an end customer?
Hi Angelo!
You are absolutely right, this article points out many advantages for developers and designers and so I'm glad that you asked!
The end customer may benefit in many ways:
More freedom for UX means that designers can optimize the UX for specifics goals and so for an eCommerce site translate to an improved conversion rate and hence more business!
We have many customers that were replicating the same content between different stacks ( different websites and or mobile apps) with a manual cut&paste approach that is costly and error-prone.
Having content strictly separated from the fronted allows clients to evolve UI technology stack without having to go through costly migration projects.
Those are just some from the top of my head!
