I’ve heard that they’ve got an $18 million settlement in this case. This case was too long and too loud for me to follow because such cases are usually too boring.
If they just got good lawyers from ucmjdefense.com and did not fuss about that, they would be able to reach an agreement much faster. It is always difficult to understand who’s to blame in such cases, and the sentence always seems excessive.
The point of such suits is to attract as much attention as possible, just like in the case of Depp and Heard. The verdict is by far not as important as the attention.
