Nothing's beat chromium for me. I tried brave (might need to look at it again, it's been awhile), tried Firefox when they switched to quantum. But chromium just wins for me as far as performance goes. Plus the "chromium apps" are great for people that want to use window managers like i3. I can pin a chromium app to a keyboard shortcut.
I mean, there's a reason everyone is building off if it, hell even Microsoft said screw it and now builds edge on it.
