I started programming at 7 and still love it at 32. My first language was Motorola 68k assembly followed by Amiga E and Pascal. I've been using Linux for 16 years. I'm experienced in C, C++, Python, and Ruby and have worked on distributed file systems, databases, networking infrastructure, desktop and web apps. I also have an MSc in maths.
I'd like to focus on learning three things:
Continue mastering software development fundamentals and applying them in my work, whatever the language.
Learning (UX) design to become a developer.
Learning a language unlike the mainstream, e.g. Nim, Rust, Crystal, Haskell, etc.
I'm happy to be part of this community.
