I've been intimidated by some of the job posting and their requirements, so it was good to hear that I should still make an effort to apply, you never know. I got into the development world because of a program I wrote using Ruby on Rails, which was outside the scope of my job title. I find this to be the hardest part of my transition, as my resume does not necessarily speak to development.
