It's almost 10 months i started programming and i just landed my first gig. It's a movie academy site for a Facebook friend, and I'll be using it to start my portfolio.
I've finished my 5 months intensive school and presented my team project (a website we developed during October) to 150 listeners on Twitch π
Now is time for job search and personal work π
Well I just started two new game projects and also done a large update to my website. The games are in C# and unity and site is in python flask. :)
Loads of stability, infrastructure, documentation and boring none codey things. Huge benefits for the long term though.
We did a coding dojo with my team at work and I did great in a language I'm not really familiar with. I'm the only junior in the team and they told me I took a much better path to the solution then the others. It felt great :)
For the first time in maybe six weekends in a row, Iβm not writing code for work. In fact, Iβm standing next to the stage waiting for Ben Kweller to come out. I am so burned out, I almost didnβt come to this concert we bought tickets for months and months ago. My first weekend free, and I really just wanted to spend it at home.
But here I am, and that is a WIN. πͺπ»
My biggest win is that I finished a project with my friend last Friday. It's a study for his doctorate and will be used next week. I hope everything goes well π
I started contributing to the open-source again and got the PR merged. Although was a startup script change, but it felt great.
Many more to come.
