Yes, there is a big difference! 😄 I think the main one between those two practices is where the focus goes. When reviewing, you of course have the problem in mind and maybe your way of how you would have approached it, yet the focus lays on the existing code. When (pair) programming the main concern is writing the code, no matter how hard you think about everything that is written in any programming book ever. Code has to be written before it can be improved - it is just a different kind of mindset! 🌱
