Has anyone here ever had a major bug go live because of a last-minute change? We had a wild experience last week at Unity Game Studio. Learned a lot, but man, those late nights hit hard.

i've seen not only major bugs, but also cheat panels leaked to prod builds, debug builds published live, cases when users with new version choose clan logo and it crashes entire server with thousands of players connected, etc =)
It's just fine and it's a things you and company need study from to avoid in next late nights =)
And last minutes changes hit's hard, yep, but from company perspective it can give significantly more profit than loss from a bug.
