When we built Payload CMS, we did include Redux at the beginning but ended up entirely removing it as Hooks and Context matured. Payload's admin panel has a ton of different global states going on but we have a well-designed solution that's completely devoid of Redux. I don't think that I'll ever use it again personally. Nothing wrong with it, just ... properly designed context works by itself for me.
