The company: MajorClarity offers K-12 schools a career exploration and academic planning platform, which is helping to rescope K-12 education to career path alignment (rather than defaulting to college for every student). Within 1 year of launching, we closed 25% of school districts in VA and expanded into 3 states; and within 2 years, we're expecting to cover 1.5% - 2% of students in the U.S. We're a small (10 person) company based in Richmond, VA -- which is a city fast on the rise AND very cheap to live in!
The role: Until now, our dev team has been our CTO and contractors. We're now looking to bring on a senior developer to work hand in hand with our CTO building out product extensions and the infrastructure to continue to scale. We're primarily looking for 2 things in a candidate: (1) Ruby expertise, and (2) somewhat of a Polyglot.
