rather then that let netlify handle your dns, point your dns nameservers to the custom netlify ones they give you example "dns1.p04.nsone.net" they will handle the let's encrypt token and the canonical url which will tell google where to look. unless I'm missing something?
Hey Greg! Solid suggestion! For the particular set up that yielded the article, updating the registrar to have Netlify handle DNS was a bigger effort than the set up outlined in this article. I appreciate the feedback though :)
