This Contest has one prompt, and you are limited to one Entry. You may qualify for multiple prize categories with that single Entry. Participants who repeatedly submit multiple Entries will not be eligible to win.
Required Elements for Entries: Without limiting any terms of the Official Rules, each Entry must include, at a minimum, the following elements:
- A published submission post on DEV that provides an overview of the project using the submission template and unique challenge tag provided on the Contest Page.
Project Timeframe: Projects must be created within the timeframe of the Contest. Work created prior to the start of the Entry Period is not eligible.
Work After the Deadline: Nothing committed after the submission deadline will be considered during judging. Judges will review commit history as part of the evaluation process. If work is committed after the deadline, you must clearly note in your project readme what was completed before the deadline and what was completed after, or your Entry may be disqualified.
Judging Criteria: All qualified entries will be judged by a panel as selected by Sponsor as set forth in the Official Rules.
Judges will award one overall winner and one winner for each prize category based on the following criteria:
- Relevance to Theme
- Creativity
- Technical Execution
- Writing Quality
- Use of Prize Category Technology (applicable only to entries submitted to a prize category)
In the event of a tie in scoring between judges, the judges will select the entry that received the highest number of positive reactions on their DEV post to determine the winner.
