We are building a structured platform that connects tool profiles, pricing insights, alternatives, comparisons, and practical guides. PickTool is still evolving as we improve its coverage, evaluation methodology, user experience, performance, and editorial quality.
Our stack
PickTool uses Next.js for the public-facing website and Laravel for its backend, API, database logic, and administration system. MySQL stores tools, categories, pricing data, ratings, and editorial content. The platform runs on Ubuntu with Nginx, Node.js, PM2, PHP-FPM, and Cloudflare for infrastructure, delivery, and performance.
