GhostPlay | A secure and smart way to buy and sell gaming accounts

What I Built

GhostPlay is a web app that allows users to buy, sell, and manage gaming accounts safely. Built with Postmark powering all transactional communication (withdrawals, statement requests, and updates), the app ensures smooth user experience and high deliverability.

How I Built It

Stack: React, Node.js, Tailwind, Postmark
All transactional emails are handled via Postmark’s API.
The app uses email for secure notifications — from withdrawal confirmations to statement delivery. Postmark’s reliability, speed, and deliverability made it our top choice for production-ready email integration.

Yeah, security was a big part of our thinking. Gaming accounts often get stolen or mishandled, so it was critical that every step — buying, selling, withdrawing — came with clear, fast email confirmations.

The biggest challenge was balancing "SPEED with TRUST". We wanted sellers and buyers to feel safe, while also keeping the experience fast — like knowing exactly when someone requested your credentials or when a withdrawal goes out.

Postmark’s instant delivery and reliability gave us that foundation — no spam folder worries, just clarity and confidence.

We knew we wanted to do something real with Postmark, so we decided to push hard and build an actual production-ready system, not just a demo.

It was intense getting confirmations, withdrawals, and alerts all running smoothly in 48 hours, but it was 100% worth it. Postmark made it crazy efficient to build secure, fast emails. Exactly what GhostPlay needed.
