In my case, at the time I didn't need real-time but since then I've adopted Kinesis Data Analytics which is surprisingly more cost-effective than I was expecting.
I would have said this article left out quite a few variants but I do see Rockset has documented multiple use cases here in prior articles. I encourage others to explore their backlog of articles on DEV.to.
I'll have to see how Kinesis Data Analytics compared against Rockset other than the usual convenience. It's just going to take me time to read and compare.
