When I started working full-time, the older "Effective C++" and "Modern C++" by Andrei Alexandrescu were read and re-read. I've got a copy of the newer "Effective Modern C++", but just haven't been spending as much time in c++ the last few years.
Anyway, nice to see a c/c++ post, we're definitely in the minority here. 😭
Very well written book. A good combination of practical advice with a proper explanation of the rationale behind the features of the language.
