In this post, I am going to explain about login with username instead of email in Laravel 9.
After Installing Laravel and Laravel Authentication open code project in code editor & follow the steps below.
Step - 1
Add username field in users table, for that create a migration to add field.
php artisan make:migration add_username_field_in_users_table
This command will create a file inside database\migrations folder.
Now update the file with code below.

Now run the migration in order to add username in users table.

Step - 2
Now update the register form so that user can choose username for login.
Open register view file resources/views/auth/register.blade.php and update the following code.
