Really good write-up! Highly informative!! I was wondering if there is a general disregard and lack of enthusiasm for emerging tech in the Japanese Software Industry... In some of the tech companies, the key folks don’t seem to have any desire to learn and adopt newer technologies and practices out there (DevOps, Data Analytics, AI, etc.) and seem to be happy doing the good old software development that existed before the advent of cloud, etc.
Is this a real phenomenon in Japan tech industry? If so, I wonder why...
