I do not understand what the fuzz is all about. New techniques are often invented because it scratches someones itch. If you do not feel the itch - good for you. But do not start telling people where they have their itches.
Up until this post, I did not know, that this (CSS in JS) is a thing. Googling for it, I found some nice frameworks which I keep on my radar. And when I feel the itch, I know how to scratch it ;)
