My favorite cautionary tale against perfectionism is a scene from Frasier where Niles has dinner perfectly set up, and finds a wrinkle in his pants.
He starts to fix it, things go wrong and by the end there's a fire and everything is ruined!
How often have we done that with our code? ;-)
Good enough is good enough --Don't "Niles" it!
