I would like to offer that UI/UX being lower level/tier than backend seems misleading, or maybe I'm just misreading your tier level with an assumption that it's linear. I've been in the industry for 5 years and usually avoid front end work. All of my experience is in backend systems. Just a comment, I'm not really sure a good way to devote such things where it doesn't seem to imply linearity. I still need coffee.
