Very inspiring story! From working as a call center support rep to getting your first fulltime dev job in about six months with a non-related degree? That's incredible, but what you continued to do in the next few years is more incredible. I started learning in October 2018, finally got my first "dev" job in May 2021, and I just spent an entire month doing no-code work. It's been a rough journey but reading your experience has added some explosive fuel to my fire. Thanks for sharing!
Also, your Epoch Rift game website looks amazing! Where and when did you learn how to design and make graphics?
I did not mention in the article but I was also the "Photoshop guy" during college, I guess that together with the fact that my work meant I had to look at prototypes, gave me the will to learn how to design, just the basics 🙃
I've been wanting to update the site as I'm not a big fan of how it currently looks like though 😝
