My Google IO 2023 Experience

Last week I had the attended Google IO, Google’s annual developer conference. The wealth of knowledge that was shared about the most recent advancements in technology and product development was simply extraordinary. From Gmail Smart Compose to Google Maps, Workspace, Cloud, Vertex AI, Palm, Android and more, the conference was filled with insightful keynotes, engaging presentations, and remarkable product demos that were nothing short of inspirational. Seeing the new product developments and advancements has enabled me to develop more depth of understanding about how these tools can advance our society and see some of its applications.

The chance to connect with other tech enthusiasts & women in tech from all across North America was yet another highlight of the event. It’s an incredible feeling to be surrounded by so many like-minded (and at the same time, diverse) individuals who share the same passion and dedication towards technology.

I also had the opportunity attend a Women in Leadership Panel as well as presentations on Palm API Quickstarts, getting started with ML and Tensorflow, and had the opportunity to chat with other Women in tech & Googlers.

Thank you to Women Techmakers for providing this opportunity. This experience has not only expanded my understanding of emerging technologies but also strengthened my commitment towards leveraging it for the betterment of our society.

I would also like to thank the Women techmakers team and the social media team at Google for providing me the opportunity so share my day on social media!
