how to generate 8-10bit integer number ID in Laravel using UUID

i need little help friends, please someone guide me how i can do...

i want to generate a random and unique id in laravel...am using UUID to generate a random id. but actually i want generate on 8-10 bit number like(45327865) but uuid generate a big string.

so please anyone can guide me how i can do....or get this kind of pattern in laravel
