I primal scream could be an appropriate way to express myself today as I find myself lost in translation online.
Maybe it’s the full moon where I...

I keep my fingers crossed with learning C#, it is a very used and popular language. There are a lot of tutorials and it is easy to get started even for beginners. If you have experience with web development, try rewriting some smaller applications in C#.
I wish you good luck in the new year.
Thank you Mortylen, I’ve noticed some fantastic companies use C# and that culture is really attractive and professional.
I love the advice about finding something real to write, I am 10 years a web developer but I think I’m looking at mid level jobs for C#, a step backwards but for something that really sparks my interest 😊
Thank you for kindly commenting it means a lot to see that people like yourself care!
If you learn something new and find it fun and fulfilling, you can't say it's a step backwards. It's a step forward, maybe just for less money :)
Yeah I think that money is not greater than happiness and doing what you love comes from enjoyment not money totally agree
Fingers crossed 🤞
Thank you Marco, very kind of you
mhm... I have couples of projects putting on hold as I have yet to find developers with frontend and backend to kickstart. I am not sure if I should engage with some developers here to work on those project(s).
I love your musings Alex, what are you working on out of interest?
Currently there are 2 projects. One won’t be monetising right away; the other, I think it is possible to be monetised after the website is done.
I can’t promise you salary or pay you are getting. But the project can be monetized with subscription model.
I have a project in which the ideas were sprouting during the pandemic period and the desire become stronger when I stumbled upon Mahmoud Harmouch’s post.
A simple platform to democratise the merchandising environment, similar to Shoutengai(shopping street) concept. It can ramify to further more and profiting more stakeholders when this project further develops.
So for anyone who’s interested they might ask, what is the website how big is it and how from A to B would it take that person to develop.
For somebody like me who’s 1 month from not having a house I’m not in this position sadly.
So I think I recommend opening some listings on Dev to help you with your search or find junior devs who need a leg up 😊
thank you for your reply. Start from small, website can be done in few weeks for first phase; for further development, it can for the 5-10 years.
Mr. Crockett. I usually offer financial plannings for my clients. Few suggestions for funds you may use temporarily:
if you have resume, and I wonder if any of my friends/associates in UK may need your skills.
Alex certainly reach out on my LinkedIn and thanks for the advice.
just came across this. freecodecamp.org/news/how-to-get-a.... Lane Wagner... as a hiring manager and head of engineering has shared some good tips, I think it is worth to have a look. Another perspective from a hiring manager maybe good to hear from.
Thanks Alex I’ll take a look
