The real advantage comes from combining all three.
For example, knowing Power BI is useful. But being able to interpret a dashboard, identify a business problem, recommend a strategy, and communicate it to decision-makers is far more valuable.
Similarly, using an AI tool is easy. Understanding when to use it, how to evaluate its output, and how to integrate it responsibly into a business process requires managerial judgement.
MBA students can start developing these abilities through analytics projects, case competitions, internships, hackathons, business simulations, and collaborative events.
The future manager will not compete with AI by avoiding it. The stronger position is to understand technology while developing the strategic and human skills that technology alone cannot provide.
