From Ethereum to Mantle: Kicking Off My #14DaysOfLearning (Camp 6)

#14DaysOfLearning #LearnwithHQ

I just wrapped up the Ethereum Co-Learning Camp 5, and honestly? I thought I’d take a break. But when HackQuest announced Co-Learning Camp 6: Mantle Edition, I knew I had to jump back in.

Today marks Day 1 of my new 14-day journey, and we kicked it off with a bang at Townhall 1.

The Problem: The Blockchain Trilemma

We started with the fundamentals. In the Townhall, we revisited the "Blockchain Trilemma"—the idea that a blockchain can difficultly achieve Decentralization, Security, and Scalability simultaneously.

  • Bitcoin/Ethereum (L1s): Prioritize Security and Decentralization, but struggle with Scalability (low TPS, high gas).
  • The Solution: This is exactly where Layer 2s like Mantle come in.

Why I’m Here

My goal for the next 14 days is simple: Understand the "Scalability" part of that triangle. I want to move from writing basic smart contracts to building high-performance, modular dApps on Mantle.

The Plan

Over the next two weeks, I’ll be documenting my progress daily.

  • Week 1: Mastering Mantle’s architecture and Solidity refresher.
  • Week 2: Building Real World Assets (RWA) dApps.

To the HackQuest team (@HackQuest_ID): Consider this my commitment. I’m locking in for the next 14 days. Let’s buidl! 🚀
