I think everyone can agree that Twitter is growing (or arguably transforming) exponentially into a source for instant news and content, and the userbase is quick to become frustrated should that "instant" factor disappear. Thus, you're absolutely right that it makes sense for Twitter to begin implementing AMP linked webpages.
That being said, I'm a bit of an optimist in the entire Google-will-take-over-the-world phenomenon, and I wanted to hear more about what you see as frustrating about the adoption of it.
