Can someone explain why VSCode is faster? It's made with Electron, same as Atom. Atom's sluggishness (which is largely the weight of my plugins I think) is my only reason I consider switching.
VSCode is not that much faster than Atom. It definitely handles certain cases like big files better, but I can't say why. Sublime destroys them both in pretty much every benchmark.
