The meetup was held at The Blob, Kolkata; on 18th June, 2023.
Here is a rundown of what happened.
The event started on one fine evening of June which coincided with Fathers Day in India.
Covering the Basics-
the basics of Blockchain, smart contracts, NFT & FT were covered.
special mention went to Crypto Kitties for breaking the Ethereum!
Introduction to the Flow-
The working & principles of the Flow chain was discussed, along with a detailed study of cadence-which helps improving on the Move language originally developed by facebook.
Discussion about terminologies-
such as resources, Flows unique account model & ways to interact with Flow was demonstrated with the help of an in browser playground- play.flow.com
local tooling comparisons were explained in detail & the disadvantages of using self custody was warned. It is better to have hybrid custody! Walletless Onboarding via simpler terms, seamless migration via account delegation, web3 application sandboxing kept people hooked to the very end.

Skipping about the funding & hackathon part, as this might get promotional & too boring. The session ended with a flip-the-bottle game + a Stand-in-proper-order-in-least-time game instead of a quiz, which was a refreshing take for engaging the audience as well as getting prizes.
