the pitch is it plans, runs, and verifies its own work before saying it is done. batches diagnosis with validation instead of just generating code and hoping for the best
sounds wild for long running agentic tasks. kinda like a senior dev who double checks their own PRs before opening them
been on Claude Code for months but this might be worth a spin. anyone tried Astra yet? does the self verification actually work or is it just marketing
also GitHub shipped HydraFusion. their multi model router that routes coding tasks across models to cut costs. 67% cheaper on some benchmarks
might test Astra on a real project this week and see if the self check thing holds up
