Built my portfolio as a macOS app. Not a website. An actual native macOS app using SwiftUI.
Most devs make a portfolio site with React or Next.js. I wanted something different. So I made it feel like opening an app on your Mac. Window controls. Sidebar navigation. The whole thing.

SwiftUI made this surprisingly easy. The whole thing is a few hundred lines of Swift. No web server. No database. Just a static site hosted for free.
People ask me why not just use a normal website. Because I could. And it stands out. Every freelancer has a Linktree. How many have a macOS app as their portfolio?
