I find that streams are good enough quality if the host has good connection. Nitro was never a need. I've used Discord for 4 years and never even thought I needed Nitro. You get a ton of features for free. Ever considered that?
If you have problems with bullying and rude moderators then you use the wrong kind of servers. Moderators are free to do whatever they want in their servers, they are not affiliated with Discord. If they choose to allow bullying, then that server isn't for you.
Discord staff are responsible for the app and have the power to do what they want. Moderating is often hard and sometimes you have to take actions you don't want. You will surely encounter similar things in any kind of online communit, not just Discord.
They don't owe you anything, so stop acting like it's all their fault. If your friends swear, which you don't like, do you go to the school and complain? Or do you go find new friends? It's not the schools fault they are swearing. You just have to adapt to your preferences. Hang out in servers that have the rules you want, no swearing and no bullying.
