Why do you think conditionals are important?
Give a set of instructions on how you think a thermostat program should work and “bold/underline” the conditionals.
Conditionals are important because when making a function or performing a task, different things can happen when different conditions are met. A thermostat program should work by turning on and off when needed. In order for that to happen the thermostat needs to know when it needs to turn on and turn off. The air conditioner should turn on when the temperature gets too warm, and turn off when it gets cool enough to your liking. The heater should turn on when it gets too cold and turn off when it gets as warm as you want it to be.
