The coach roster is live on web and Android

I shipped the coach roster this morning. SpeedTrackr 1.2.2 is on Google Play, and it has been available since 7:35 AM IST on Sunday 4 October 2026. The same roster is on the web app. Coach Mode is on both. This is not a new app. It is the same Play listing, with a list of athletes a coach can use after practice.

You turn Coach Mode on in Profile. That opens the Squad tab. The Squad tab is one list of every athlete. For each athlete it shows when they last tested, how many results they have, and a NEW BEST tag when they beat an earlier result. A first result is a baseline. I do not call a first result a new best, because there was nothing before it to beat.

Open an athlete and you get one page for that person. Records, Progress, and every Result are on that page. The question I wanted that page to answer is simple. What did this athlete do last time, and did they beat it.

The coach Home screen flags who beat a previous result in the last 7 days. After a testing week you can see who moved, instead of checking every name. If nobody beat an earlier mark, there is no new best to show.

You can add an athlete in the Squad tab before practice, or type a name when you save a result. Some coaches arrive with a list. Some only know who showed up when the time is already on the screen. Both paths land on the same roster.

The times on that roster are practice times. Timing is start and finish only. The second gate can be an Android phone, an iPhone, or a laptop. There are no splits. It is practice-grade timing, not official timing, and it is not a fully automatic timing system. I am not putting an accuracy number on it, and I am not lining it up against timing hardware. The roster does not change the clock. It is where a saved practice time sits after the finish.

One roster detail is specific to jump tests. Body weight is saved on the athlete. The app asks for it once, when that athlete is picked for a jump test, so jump power uses their weight. Before this update, a jump used the coach's own weight unless someone retyped it. Vertical jump and barbell speed are still film or an import, then a result. They are not live on-camera analysis. Sprint form analysis is not in this update. Timing Pro is not in this update. Both stay parked.

I wrote this for coaches who test a group. Strength coaches, sprint coaches, and team sport coaches who run the same test on many athletes were the people I had in mind. An athlete who only tests themselves can still use the app. The roster is the part that changes a group session.

There is no native iPhone app. If you coach from an iPhone, you use the web app. Android is the Play app.

If you want the Android app, it is on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedtrackr.reactionpro

If you are on a laptop or an iPhone, log in on the web: https://www.speedtrackr.com/auth/login

That is what shipped. A squad list, one page per athlete, and a flag when someone beats an earlier practice result. The clock is still a start and a finish.
