TL;DR Welcome back to Dev Opportunity Radar. This is a weekly series where I share opportunities, resources, communities, and interesting finds ...

What opportunities, communities, grants, fellowships, hackathons, conferences, or resources have you come across recently that deserve more attention?

I am always looking for things to include in future editions, so feel free to share anything interesting you've found. If I feature one of your finds in a future edition, I'll always make sure to credit you.

If you discovered an opportunity through the radar, applied to something, joined a community, attended an event, or simply found something you hadn't seen before, I'd genuinely love to hear about that too. With your permission, I'd be happy to feature your update in a future 💙 Reader Updates section.

Small request: If you're sharing a link, please avoid posting raw URLs directly. DEV sometimes filters them before I get a chance to see the comment.

Instead, use the opportunity name as the link text, for example: [Flow Fellowship](https://example.com), and include a short description of what it is.

Thanks Hemapriya! I think CALEC is a good place for volunteer work as a Full Stack DEV and other opportunities! Check out CALEC's opportunities

I hadn't come across CALEC before, so thank you for sharing it, Francis. I took a look at their opportunities, and I think it would make a great Community Find.

I'll be featuring it in next week's edition, and of course I'll make sure to credit you for the find. Thanks again for thinking of the radar 💙

This series is slowly turning into the developer version of a weekly loot drop. 😄

Every Friday it's like:
"Free conference? Scholarship? Grant? Wait... how many tabs am I opening today?" 😂

Really appreciate you putting these together. It's easy to miss opportunities like these unless someone does the digging for the community. 💙

Haha, I love the "weekly loot drop" comparison 😄

That's honestly one of the goals. There are so many great opportunities out there, and it's surprisingly easy to miss them unless someone happens to come across them at the right time.

Thank you so much for reading every week and for the kind words. I'm really glad you're finding the series useful 😀

AWS re:Invent fully funded sounds great until you get there and spend 3 days overwhelmed between sessions and booths. the real value is hallway conversations you never scheduled. worth applying, just calibrate expectations first.

I can see how a conference like re:Invent could feel overwhelming, especially if it's your first time attending. It's probably easy to spend all your time rushing between sessions and booths.

Thanks for sharing that perspective. Hopefully, anyone who attends through the grant gets to make the most of both the sessions and those unplanned hallway conversations too.

yeah, exactly. the scheduled content is almost secondary. most of what I brought back from similar events came from random conversations waiting for a session to start

🔥 This series is honestly a goldmine for developers!
From AWS re:Invent to Google Cloud Career Launchpad — so many powerful opportunities in one place 🔥

Feels like every issue is a “career upgrade unlocked” moment 🚀
Keep them coming — this is real value for the dev community 💯

Thank you so much, Divyanshi 💙 That really means a lot.

I'm glad you're finding the series useful. There are so many great opportunities out there, and one of my goals is to make them a little easier to discover.

I think you were asking me something earlier. I'm sorry—I couldn't see your message because I was busy with some work. Could you please tell me again?

No worries at all 😄

I was just curious as a bit of reader feedback.

If you're comfortable sharing, was there one opportunity from this edition that you found particularly interesting? It helps me understand what readers find most useful as I keep improving the series. But no pressure at all if you'd rather not answer 💙

Thanks for asking! 😊 Personally, the fully funded AWS re:Invent opportunity stood out to me the most.

As someone who's still early in my tech journey, I often miss opportunities simply because I don't know they exist. Your series feels like a helpful reminder to keep looking beyond just coding and learning tutorials. It's encouraging to see that there are programs, scholarships, and events that can help learners grow, connect with others, and gain real-world exposure.

I've genuinely enjoyed reading these Opportunity Radar posts because they save time and introduce opportunities I probably wouldn't have found on my own. Looking forward to seeing what you share in the next edition! ❤️

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this, Divyanshi. It genuinely helps me understand what readers are finding valuable 💙

What you said about discovering opportunities you might not have found otherwise is exactly why I started Dev Opportunity Radar. Hearing that it's helping in that way is really encouraging and reminds me why I enjoy putting these editions together every week.

Thank you again for sharing your perspective, and I hope the upcoming editions help you discover even more opportunities 😄

Adding my vote to the "weekly loot drop" description, because my tab bar is officially overflowing right now! 😂 Seriously though, thank you for putting this together. Finding fully funded tech opportunities can feel like looking for a needle in a haystack, so having them curated like this is a massive help, sister...

Haha, I think "weekly loot drop" might officially be the nickname for the series now 😂

Thank you so much for the kind words 💙 I'm really glad you're finding it helpful.

There are so many great opportunities out there, but they're often scattered across different websites and communities. If the radar saves people a bit of time and helps someone discover an opportunity they might otherwise have missed, then it's doing exactly what I hoped it would.

Thanks again for reading, Kartikeya, and I hope there are a few more tabs worth opening in the next edition too 😄

I owned you a lot of gratitude because without the Dev Opportunity Radar I could have missed an opportunity I applied for on Dev opportunity Radar #4.
It is only the Almighty God that will reward you on this your noble venture. Thanks a million and remain blessed.

Thank you so much for your kind words, George.

Reading this genuinely made my day.

Knowing that you discovered an opportunity through Dev Opportunity Radar and were able to apply for it is exactly why I started this series. I really hope it works out for you, and I'll be cheering you on!

If you are comfortable with it, would it be okay if I shared your experience in the 💙 Reader Updates section of a future edition? I'd summarize it in my own words and tag you, if that's okay. I think it would encourage others to apply for opportunities they come across too.

Wishing you all the very best, and thank you again for taking the time to let me know 😃
