My article on rebuilding K8sAttackMap didn’t make the final cut, but I’m glad I shared the journey from hackathon wreckage to a production‑ready Kubernetes attack‑path visualizer. The challenge helped me polish the project and improve the docs, and the community feedback has been invaluable. Thanks to DEV and GitHub for hosting, and to everyone who read, commented, or starred the repo. It’s open source, so if you’re curious about Kubernetes security tools, check it out; contributions welcome!
Thank you so much! 😊🎉
I found it interesting that you highlighted the importance of using a high-quality backlink indexer to improve the ranking of a website. The way it helps to submit backlink indexer cheats guide to search engines and increase online visibility is crucial for any serious SEO strategy. Can you share some of your personal experiences with using a backlink indexer?

Okay… I am honestly shocked. I did not expect this at all.
Are you telling me that my nostalgic game from 2014, which won a pair of stickers in the Czech dev community back then, has now won again in the DEV community? 🤯
That is amazing and unbelievable! I am honored to win alongside so many great submissions.
Thank you to the DEV Team for bringing us these amazing challenges. I am really happy to be part of such a great community. 🙌
And congrats to all the winners!

Thrilled to see ShelfTalk in the winners list! This one meant a lot — it started as a semester 5 project that never got finished, and this challenge was the push I needed to actually revive it, migrate it properly, and ship it. Huge thanks to the DEV team and GitHub for running this. Onto the next build! 🚀
Honestly still processing this! 🤯 Seeing Daphq make the top 10 alongside such an impressive lineup is incredible. Pushing that bare-metal performance was a massive grind, and it feels awesome to see it recognized.
Huge congrats to everyone who participated—the comeback stories in this thread are pure gold.
Huge thanks to the DEV and GitHub teams for organizing this! 💜

Still can't believe it! 🤯
CodeSynth began as a hackathon experiment years ago, and revisiting it for this challenge let me transform it into something I had always envisioned. Winning feels like a full-circle moment, and I'm incredibly grateful.
Thank you to GitHub and the DEV team for organizing such an amazing challenge, and congrats to all the other winners! 🎉🚀
Congrats to the winners! 🥳

Huge congratulations to all the winners! Bringing abandoned side projects back to life is one of the hardest things to do, and this challenge was a brilliant way to push everyone forward. Well deserved!

congratulation everyone. Great work!
Congratulations to all winners 🏆
Thank you! 🎉
Wonderful projects. Congrats to all the winners!!
you did'nt even seen projects , blog post visited by 2 people for 15 second read time on june 18, so this makes it clear how evaluation happened. with no objection congratulation for all winners . but i did not find any proof of evaluation .
Hey Pranay. It could be the case where they had to download the articles and reviewing them from there due to biases such as engagements for example. It gives a fair assessment without having to see the engagement that could skewed the results.
Back then when we have volunteer judges, we were able to go on each articles on dev.to and go from there. Due to the MLH acquisition, I would assume their methods would be different in a way they are not looking at dev.to.
The engagements only factors in if there are two articles that are "tied". If they can't determine between the two, I would assume they go on dev.to and look from there.
Hope this makes sense
I am new to this community I joined recently 22nd may 2026 so i was not aware about this i thought they will go by each article which isn’t 15 seconds read , thanks for clearing my doubts , it make sense. My project was not even fitting in that criteria or even close to criteria but due to use of GitHub copilot i just registered. But then i just out of curiosity looked for articles view and raised this question.
Sounds good! Yea if it was last year, makes sense since volunteer judge used to be a thing. Hopefully in the future they get everything set up for volunteer judges.
Do let us know if anything else :)
Will participants receive a completion badge if the prompt was properly submitted?😊
wow
JazakAllah its great Omar Afifi
This resonates. We built KING AI around the idea that an intelligent system should reflect on its own decisions daily. The improvement curve is steep when you add that feedback loop.
