Let's turn that around: Is there any title for which being dismissed as "Just a $TITLE" would make you feel good?
I don't think "Just a programmer", "just a senior software engineer", or even "just the VP of IT" would be any better when used dismissively.
To answer the letter rather than the spirit of your question, I feel amused by the term "coder", because the string "code" is highly overloaded between a couple different jargon dialects in which I spend time. In emergency medicine, "to code" means approximately "to die", so with insufficient context I can sometimes expand "coder" wrong and have a quick "what? no, I'm not dead... oh right, I write software" moment.
