List All Worksheet Names with Hyperlinks as Table of Contents in Excel!!

In this post, you will learn how to List All Worksheet Names with Hyperlinks as Table of Contents of Workbook in Excel Office 365 using Kutools. Get an official version of MS Excel from the following link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/microsoft-365/excel

Note: kutools for Excel has more than 180 features which are used to complete the difficult task with several clicks. If you want to use Kutools, you need to install it from Excel’s official website.

To do:

We are going to use the Create List of Sheet Names option of Kutools to finish this task.

Using this utility, you can also do the below-given actions.

  • Create a new worksheet that serves as the table of contents.
  • List all sheet names as Sheet Index.
  • Each sheet has been linked with a hyperlink for navigation between them.

Here, for example, we are going to build a worksheet index. To do this, follow the below steps.

  • First, you need to activate the workbook that you want to create a worksheet index.
  • Go to the Kutools Plus Tab, select the Worksheet option, choose the Create List of Sheet Names from the menu.

  • It will open the Create List of Sheet Names Dialog box.
  • Sheet Index Styles – You need to select any of the options given in this section. You can create a sheet index with a hyperlink or macro button.
  • Specify sheet name for Sheet Index – Give your sheet name as you need for your Sheet Index.
  • Insert the Sheet Index in – You need to specify the position of the Sheet index using the given drop-down list.
  • *Displaying Sheet Index into – * Using this option, you can display the Sheet Index as 1 column, 2 columns, 3 columns, or 4 columns.

  • Then, click the OK button and you can see that a new worksheet with Sheet Index has been created as shown in the below image.

  • If you check the Contains buttons and macros option, you will get the output as shown in the below screenshot.
