In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, EduSmart leverages the power of 3D models and augmented reality to enhance the e-learning experience. Traditional online classes can often be dull and uninspiring, making it difficult for students to engage with and retain information, especially in subjects requiring hands-on experience. Highs and Lows
During Hacktoberfest 2023, EduSmart experienced significant growth and development. The participation and enthusiasm of contributors were inspiring, with many creative ideas and improvements to the project.
A high point was the introduction of an augmented reality learning feature. It was a groundbreaking moment that brought a new level of interactivity to our project.
However, we also faced challenges in managing the influx of contributions. Some pull requests required substantial code refactoring and extensive testing, which added a workload for the maintainers. Effective communication and collaboration with contributors were key to overcoming these challenges.
