Learning to be a better developer s a lifelong journey. No matter what pace you have, you will never reach the finishing line.

So try to enjoy the ride instead. Join meetups, hackathons, or contribute to an open-source project. Do not expect to be a leader in a technical domain within a year or two. It takes a long time to reach that level, and not everyone has to.

For me, programming is a passion and I feel gifted that I could make it my full-time career.

But I also feel burnt out sometimes. I take a step back whenever that happens and focus on other things in my free time for a couple of weeks.
