Cloud Computing

Essentially, cloud computing is required due to the various personal and corporate issues that we face nowadays. These issues vary from purchasing and maintaining costly hardware and software resources that we engage in our everyday operations to simplifying these resources in the most effective manner for our own and societal benefit. In dealing with these issues, cloud computing has provided various benefits that have exceeded our expectations and offered more than we had anticipated.

–Why Cloud computing?
→ Cloud run software programs without installing them on our computers; it enables us to store and access our multimedia content via the internet, it enables us to develop and test programs without necessarily having servers and so on.

–What is cloud computing?
→In simple terms, cloud computing is a range of services delivered over the internet,or “The Cloud”.It means using remote servers to store and access data instead of relying on local hard drives and private data centers.

Before cloud computing existed, organizations had to purchase and maintain their own servers to meet business needs. This require buying enough server space to reduce the risk and downtime and outages, and to accommodate peak traffic volume. As a result ,large amounts of servers space went unused for much of time .today’s cloud services providers allow companies to reduce the need for onsite servers, maintenance personnel, and other costly IT resources.

–Types of cloud providers:-
